Where we come from?

NexTReT (contraction of the Technology Resource Transfer Nexus) was born in 1993, being the first La Salle Engineering Start-Up (Ramon Llull University) with the aim of bringing university knowledge closer to the company.

The initial objective was to offer solutions in communications, systems and basic software; that is, to provide the platforms where business applications are sustained. This objective is still valid today.

During the first five years, we were also responsible for the work of the TTO (Office for the Transfer of Research Results) of La Salle, acting as a link between the University Departments and the clients who were offered projects under the regime technology transfer.

The first five years we were located within the university campus in precarious (wooden barracks) but very convenient facilities. We learned a lot at that time and La Salle’s support was fundamental in our beginnings. The Lasallian spirit and gratitude to the institution remain in our DNA.

After more than 25 years, we are a private company with Spanish capital, solvent and with a vocation for permanence.

From our offices in Barcelona and Madrid we offer services throughout the Spanish geography and, eventually, we accompany multinational companies where they develop their projects. We are more than 300 professionals with constant but prudent growth.
