Our solution
We implanted a global management, monitoring and network, servers and desktop administration solution based on two complementary technologies: HP OpenView for the Monitorization and Microsoft SMS for the remote desktop administration.
Results
The Departement de Cultura of the Generalitat has a great geographic dispersion counting on
- Service Level was improved
- Reduction in the resolution and response time of incidences thanks to the remote control.
- Desktop security improvement thanks to the centralized patch distribution.
- Reduction of the time and cost of software deployment.
- Stability was increased and incidences reduced thanks to the greater homogeneity of versions.
- Automated hardware and software inventory improved the knowledge and control optimizing purchase plans.
- On site displacements are reduced.
