The new General regulation on data protection (RGPD) will enter into force on the 25th of May 2018. This means that on the established date all companies should be adapted, not a simple task if we consider that this regulation represents a paradigm shift in which new principles, rights and obligations are established.
This paradigm shift, in practice, implies that all companies must make changes in their policies and processes, and even in the structure of their organization.
In addition, companies that haven't adapted in time, face fines and penalties of up to 20 m € or 4% of the business volume.
